    Andre Doyle-Reading Football

    Andre Doyle is entering his second season as the head football coach at Reading. The Red Knights are one of the few teams in Berks County with an experienced quarterback. Coach Doyle told WEEU’s Paul Roberts about the progress that Branden Boutte has made and some of his top targets.

    Joe Moyer-Kutztown Football

    WEEU Sports Director Paul Roberts caught up with Kutztown football coach Joe Moyer. Coach Moyer says things are going much smoother in his second year at the helm of the Cougars. Coach Moyer is also glad to see Lucas Floyd playing football. Floyd will be the starting quarterback this season.

    Pat Sisk-Muhlenberg Football

    The Muhlenberg football team is looking forward to its 75th season. Head coach Pat Sisk has been very impressed with his team’s work ethic. He told WEEU’s Paul Roberts that Junior Duffault has all of the skills needed to play at the next level.

    Sean Gaul-Fleetwood Football

    Fleetwood football coach Sean Gaul is very optimistic about the upcoming season. He told WEEU’s Paul Roberts that the Tigers have a nice combination of size, speed, and experience to go along with a new quarterback in Charlie Maddocks.

    Rick Keeley-B.C. Football

    WEEU Sports Director Paul Roberts caught up with Berks Catholic head coach Rick Keeley after the Saints’ scrimmage with Gov. Mifflin. They talked about some key players to watch including Abdul MacFoy, Nolan Larkin, and C.J. Carwll. Coach Keeley also discussed the quarterback position, offensive line, and Berks Catholic’s rivalry with Wyomissing.

    Rob Flowers-D.B. Football

    The Daniel Boone football team made big strides in 2018. They return six starters on defense, as well as second-team All-County running back Tanner Vanderslice. Head coach Rob Flowers told WEEU Sports Director Paul Roberts about the Blazers’ other key players and their triple option offense.

    Twin Valley football coach Dean Owens has the Raiders headed in the right direction. Coach Owens was a guest on the “Sports Democracy” with WEEU’s Paul Roberts. They talked about four-year starter Nick Kurtz, a talented sophomore class, a new quarterback, and a tough opener against Wyomissing.

    Matt Bauer is preparing for his 11th season as the head coach at Exeter. He sat down with WEEU Sports Director Paul Roberts to talk about their quarterback competition, some exciting skill position players, underclassmen to look out for, and this year’s team leaders.
